Tan Rallt - Extension and Lime Mortar Rendering

Tan Rallt was a typical smallholding with main house and attached outbuilding. The house had been pebbledashed and fitted with plastic windows and the outbuilding had a corrugated roof.The outbuilding was demolished and a new extension built to compliment the main house.

New wooden sliding sash windows were made and fitted to both the main house and extension.
The pebbledash was removed from the main house and both the new and original walls were rendered with lime mortar and finished with limewash.

The original house was completely refurbished. New oak floor joists were fitted in the Living Room and all internal walls plastered with lime plaster.

A new electrical system was installed and a heating and hot water system based on an air sourced heat pump.

A sewage treatment plant was installed . Stone walls and all the other landscaping work was carried out.
